For over two decades, Doug and Jana Van Polen have been a driving force in professional beauty. Their journey started with Bella, their first salon in Iowa, and grew into a multi-state legacy of salons and educational institutes across Iowa and Minnesota, mentoring generations of professionals along the way.

Their background spans salon ownership, beauty education, and executive business leadership. But their real advantage is simpler than any of that: they find exceptional people, cultivate their talents, and build the platform for them to shine. Doug and Jana have always believed that their role is to build the stage, but the team brings the vision to life.

When the opportunity came to acquire the Beecher Group, a professional salon product importer and distributor with roots going back to 1954, Doug and Jana saw a chance to reshape distribution from the inside. Bellamonte Professional is that vision realized.
